The Few and Cursed is a creator-owned comic book series about people trying to survive a wicked world where most of the water was gone overnight in a mysterious apocalyptic event in 1840.
The Redhead is a hardened survivor that was born in this reality and now fights to protect the innocent. As the land fell into darkness a group of men and women decided to take a stand and fight back, they are known as Curse Chasers.

Howdy folks!
Who's ready for our final week on Kickstarter with issue #11?! We've had an incredible past couple of days and managed to unlock not just one but another two Stretch Goals! :D
We're also well on our way to the next one and I can't wait to see how far we can get!

I'm particularly excited about the Nataly Uildrim unlock since the artwork looks absolutely stunning and will make for a gorgeous collectible card!
Next up we've got a brand new and exclusively commissioned artwork for the back-cover of all Regular & Variant editions \o/

ENAMEL PINS - MOCK-UPS APPROVED FOR PRODUCTION
The first series of Enamel Pins is already in production, they will be delivered soon and I'm super excited about them. I'm working with Galaxy Squad and they've done an incredible job translating the artwork into an actual enamel pin.
If you are on the fence about'em, that's what they will look like so make sure to upgrade those pledges to add them on ;)
Caleb and I have cross-promoted in the past and it's always a lot of fun, he's a pretty awesome creator with a beautiful series in his hands - and a Western nonetheless ;)

I don't know how they do it but Phil & Kat are probably the most prolific creators of comics on Kickstarter right now! And always with beautiful looking projects, it's definitely worth checking out.

Curtis is Kickstarter veteran with over 20 Kickstarter campaigns under his belt and he is also someone with great artistic eye with his project look fantastic too! His latest is already funded and reaching for Stretch Goals with plenty of time left on the clock.

New Artwork Reveal! 🎨

Hey everyone!
The last few days here on Kickstarter have been quite a challenge, this middle part of any campaign is always difficult but I couldn't be happier to announce we're getting to close to 1350 backers and yet another Stretch Goal!
We're currently $500+ away from adding a nice set of three postcards featuring amazing art from past guests. We're also well on our way to unlock a SECOND BOOK added to every package shipping out to backers.
That's right, if we manage to get all the way to $51K every backer that pledged towards physical rewards will received a second copy of The Few and Cursed #11 - this time in pristine black and white preserving Fabiano's ink work :D
NEW ART REVEAL \o/
As I get ready to send The Few and Cursed #10 to print artists have been turning in their latest pieces of art featuring the Redhead and boy do I have a couple of really nice ones to share with you all.
While these are part of the previous issue and KS campaign, it should give you an idea of what to expect for #11. For those joining us right now, we absolutely put artists first and always try and feature quality art across the board - whether it's a cover, promo or interiors.

As soon as the Kickstarter is over I will tally up the number of new artworks to be added to Issue #11 and how far I can stretch the budget to make sure we have art you can all enjoy!
That's probably one of my favorite bits of working as the editor for The Few and Cursed, spotting new artists is awesome and I really appreciate everyone's feedback left on the last Update.
A fully funded and chasing Stretch Goals project from an award-winner creator, this is definitely a campaign you'll want to check out! The Jump features a script by Rylend Grant who has worked in Hollywood for over 15 years and happens to have an awesome podcast that will feature yours truly today ;)

Mirrored Dreams: An Art Anthology from the World of Dreams
Another fully funded project and a gorgeous one at that! They are going into their final days chasing exciting Stretch Goals after funding in less than six hours!

Out of the box - A Multi-Genres Comics Anthology Vol. #1-3
This is an incredible series from an amazing roster of Italian artist and it's been fully funded too. Space Otter Publishing is an exciting publisher and I highly recommend their comics!
From their own page: "It's a comics anthology about 140 pages including 5 different stories. While each story is different in style and setting they still connect to one another through the themes and a shared narrative universe!"

One more Stretch Goal unlocked and we're well on our way towards the next one which is a personal favorite, folks \o/
It's always a treat finding new artists and seeing their vision of Red brought to life. I can't wait to reach $40K in pledges and unlock the Gallery of Guest Artists to be added to the book, I already have a few artists in mind I wanna reach out to...

The Little Mermaid & The Pirate Queen #1 - Sapphic Adventure
Kat and I go waaaayyyyy back, she's a prolific and awesome comic book professional and more often than not we end up overlapping Kickstarter campaigns allowing us to support each other creatively. Her campaigns are always on point, feature gorgeous art and even better storytelling. Make sure you check this one out quickly as there are less than 55hrs left ;)
But with nearly 1500 backers you know you are in for a treat! From her own page: "Once upon a time there was a mermaid looking for adventure, Princess Aria of Atlantis. She thought she found her happily ever after with Prince Elliott of Portsmith, but quickly came to realize that becoming human would not fill the void in her life. Aria doesn't feel like she belongs. She wants more than just to be a mermaid or human. And she's beginning to worry that nothing will ever get rid of the restlessness that has always plagued her. Brenton's campaign has actually finished up already but it is still open for Late Pledges - and you'll be supporting a project already fully financed! Brenton has been a long-time supporter of The Few and Cursed and is an incredible creator himself having been nominated for the Ringo Awards thrice in the past for his indie series Snow White Zombie Apocalypse.

Howdy partners!
I know I just updated you all yesterday but I really didn't want to keep this page for myself... this is page 5 of The Few and Cursed #10 and goes to show the craftsmanship Fabiano, Tiago and myself put in every single page.
I really couldn't be more excited about putting the Redhead together with Alistair Fairweather and see what comes out of it. These are two very skilled gunslingers and Curse Chasers and you just know neither would ever back down from an argumento...
As the art team wrap up production on The Few and Cursed #10 and I work on the script for the next issue it's just awesome knowing we can all work with your support.
Once again thanks so much for pledging and making this campaign the success it's been so far. If you'd like to check out Alistair's first official appearance make sure to grab Chronicles of The Few and Cursed and then catch him as well on a more protagonist role in TFAC: Shadow Nation.

This is a last minute project recommendation featuring three absolutely legendary comic book characters: Shi, Lady Death & Usagi Yojimbo! Their Kickstarter campaign ends in about 7hrs and of course they are funded and chasing amazing Stretch Goals with over 1200 backers!

Howdy folks!
We're officially through our first week on Kickstarter with TFAC#11 and I couldn't have asked for a better week! Thanks so much to everyone that pledged so far, you made this campaign an incredible success :D
This is the fastest we ever got to 1000+ backers and on top of that we also unlocked everything planned in our first wave of Stretch Goals! Here are the last SGs we completely crushed:
Don't think for a second we're done though! This is just the first wave of Stretch Goals and there is still a lot planned.
Some of my favorite items to unlock are in our Phase 2 including the sought after Ashcan edition in physical format that's added to EVERY pledge going out in the mail. Consider this the official announcement of our Phase 2 of Stretch Goals!

Continuing with our series of recommendations we've got an exciting project that is fully funded and ending in less than 24hrs! There is enough time though to unlock another Stretch Goal so if this looks like your cup of tea use the link above and check it out.
Another project fully funded that now looks to aim much further. If you are a fan of classic science fiction space action movies and big monster hunter adventures than this is right in your wheelhouse. The artwork alone on this one looks stunning!
