The Few and Cursed is a creator-owned comic book series about people trying to survive a wicked world where most of the water was gone overnight in a mysterious apocalyptic event in 1840.
The Redhead is a hardened survivor that was born in this reality and now fights to protect the innocent. As the land fell into darkness a group of men and women decided to take a stand and fight back, they are known as Curse Chasers.

Howdy folks!
It's been a week since we wrapped up an amazing campaign to fund The Few and Cursed #11 and the pledges keep coming in \o/
We're actually nearing $53K and got around 20 new backers since the end of the campaign last week so if you still have friends interested in TFAC, by all means, share with them the link below and let's keep those pledges coming, we might even unlock an extra SG!

New artwork reveal!
A few weeks ago a terrific Brazilian artist reached out to me saying how big of a fan he is of Red and TFAC. And to my surprise he did a piece of fan art which I loved it so much I had to get someone to throw some colors and get it print-ready.
What you see below is such art which will be included in Issue #11. Deivis Goetten impressed me so much that his fan art became an official promo art with colors by DC Comics colorist Ren Spiller.

Another The Few and Cursed issue with more than 1500+ backers, isn't that absolutely incredible?!?
We haven't made it all the way up to $60K to completely annihilate Phase 2 of Stretch Goals but we got sooooo close! We did unlock the Ashcan though so that's a second book to all physical pledges \o/

Over the course of the past week we went on to unlock a couple more Stretch Goals and I will go into more detail below. They are absolute two of my favorites.
First up is the opportunity of bringing in a brand new artist to deliver his/her vision of the Redhead and grace the back-cover of every edition but the Kickstarter exclusive ones (the Holofoil & Photo covers).
And as mentioned before, the Ashcan edition in print. I really love this format as it preserves Fabiano's inks as he envisioned. I'm even considering doing a hardcover trade collecting the Ashcans... any thoughts there?
Chime in the comments, let me know if an oversized stylish all black and white book with the Ashcan editions is something you'd like to have in your bookshelf!
WHAT IS NEXT FOR TFAC?
First a little bit of business. Please note your credit cards have been charged already and if they haven't they will be in the next few days. If there are any problems Kickstarter will automatically ask for backers to fix the issue and try again for about a week or so.
If you have any questions regarding payment please reach out directly to Kickstarter. There isn't much I can do other than check on errored payments and send a message to you to try and help mediate any assistance needed with Kickstarter.
Make sure your payment methods are up to date to avoid dropped pledges.
If by any chance your pledge gets dropped and you still have an interest in your rewards, do not fret, you still count as a backer when I send out the Pledge Manager surveys via BackerKit and you will have yet another chance to correct your payment method and confirm the pledge.
I haven't finished up the script yet for The Few and Cursed #11 but I'll be done in the next week or so and Fabiano will immediately start working on the artwork.Â
We should be in production for the next eight to twelve weeks during which I will also cast all the artists for the various items unlocked via Stretch Goals and as soon as they start turning in layouts and finished pieces you will also be the first ones to see.Â
STAY TUNED FOR FUTURE CAMPAIGNS!
I have a couple of things planned for The Few and Cursed and another original graphic novel already in production but honestly I'm gonna hold off on any new campaigns for the next couple of months.
During that time I will focus on fulfilling outstanding Kickstarter projects - they will roll out one after another starting with Adagio then TFAC#10 and the TFAC Audio Experience - and advancing the new stuff so by the time we launch it won't take as long to fulfill.
I highly recommend though you FOLLOW ME right here on Kickstarter so any time I launch something new, you'll be first in line to know about it.Â

You can put in a pre-order for anything right now to reserve it and save on shipping once we consolidate your pledge with any extras and zero out the double shipping costs ;)

It is impossible for me to guarantee there won't be any delays or challenges ahead but I'm always around, I always respond to comments or DMs and I am ready to listen.

Alright, alright, alright, here we are, LAST DAY on Kickstarter \o/
What an incredible campaign so far, over 1500 backers and coming up to $50K. We're THIS close to unlocking the printed Ashcan edition of the book which will be added to EVERY physical pledge!
We still have plenty of time left and there are a number of ways you can still help us go even further.Â

How do I upgrade my pledge?
Visit the project's page on Kickstarter one more time and you'll see a "Manage your pledge" green button just up top.
I've backed Death Transit Tanager 2 a while back and this is what showed up at the top of the project's page. From there I can edit my pledge, let's go on to the next page ;)
When you click that green button you'll be redirected to your pledge's info page - payment method, reward chosen and estimated delivery.
At the bottom you can spot a Change your pledge blue button:

A new screen pops up where you can pick any other reward tier still available.Â
If you are at a digital only tier please do consider an Upgrade to a physical tier, the extras unlocked through Stretch Goals alone are already worth the upgrade!Â

The Beast & Snow #1-3 - Vampire Snow White vs the Evil Queen
I don't know how she does it but Kat is back already on Kickstarter with yet another gorgeous looking project! Even though she just launched the campaign, it's already fully funded and chasing Stretch Goals!
From her own page: "Once upon a time Snow White, a princess-turned-vampire, set out on a mission to rescue Belle, a damsel held captive by a ferocious Beast. Who's ready for our final week on Kickstarter with issue #11?! We've had an incredible past couple of days and managed to unlock not just one but another two Stretch Goals! :D
We're also well on our way to the next one and I can't wait to see how far we can get!

ENAMEL PINS - MOCK-UPS APPROVED FOR PRODUCTION
The first series of Enamel Pins is already in production, they will be delivered soon and I'm super excited about them. I'm working with Galaxy Squad and they've done an incredible job translating the artwork into an actual enamel pin.
If you are on the fence about'em, that's what they will look like so make sure to upgrade those pledges to add them on ;)
Caleb and I have cross-promoted in the past and it's always a lot of fun, he's a pretty awesome creator with a beautiful series in his hands - Â and a Western nonetheless ;)

New Artwork Reveal! đ¨

Hey everyone!
The last few days here on Kickstarter have been quite a challenge, this middle part of any campaign is always difficult but I couldn't be happier to announce we're getting to close to 1350 backers and yet another Stretch Goal!
We're currently $500+ away from adding a nice set of three postcards featuring amazing art from past guests. We're also well on our way to unlock a SECOND BOOK added to every package shipping out to backers.
That's right, if we manage to get all the way to $51K every backer that pledged towards physical rewards will received a second copy of The Few and Cursed #11 - this time in pristine black and white preserving Fabiano's ink work :D
NEW ART REVEAL \o/
As I get ready to send The Few and Cursed #10 to print artists have been turning in their latest pieces of art featuring the Redhead and boy do I have a couple of really nice ones to share with you all.
While these are part of the previous issue and KS campaign, it should give you an idea of what to expect for #11. For those joining us right now, we absolutely put artists first and always try and feature quality art across the board - whether it's a cover, promo or interiors.

As soon as the Kickstarter is over I will tally up the number of new artworks to be added to Issue #11 and how far I can stretch the budget to make sure we have art you can all enjoy!
That's probably one of my favorite bits of working as the editor for The Few and Cursed, spotting new artists is awesome and I really appreciate everyone's feedback left on the last Update.
A fully funded and chasing Stretch Goals project from an award-winner creator, this is definitely a campaign you'll want to check out! The Jump features a script by Rylend Grant who has worked in Hollywood for over 15 years and happens to have an awesome podcast that will feature yours truly today ;)

Another fully funded project and a gorgeous one at that! They are going into their final days chasing exciting Stretch Goals after funding in less than six hours!

Out of the box - A Multi-Genres Comics Anthology Vol. #1-3
This is an incredible series from an amazing roster of Italian artist and it's been fully funded too. Space Otter Publishing is an exciting publisher and I highly recommend their comics!
From their own page: "It's a comics anthology about 140 pages including 5 different stories. While each story is different in style and setting they still connect to one another through the themes and a shared narrative universe!"
